Week beginning 4.11.19

Wow! What a busy and energetic week! We have had lots of fun celebrating Necton Primary's Sports Week and national Outdoor Learning Day. Have a look at the following photographs to see some of  the things we have been up...

The week started with some fun P.E activities old school style! Working on our aim, accuracy and team work with some benchball fun!

On Tuesday we worked on our accuracy, connectivity, resilience and more team building skills with a variety of  classroom based activities with the CFS resilience workshop.

Braving the drizzle playing 3.D noughts and crosses!

Wednesday brought a new sport to us all, as we tried our hand at New Wave Curling!

Thursday was national Outdoor Learning Day. Yet again, the rain could not stop our outdoor adventures, as we took a trip to the village sign to do some sketching and learn about our local history.

The investigations continued when we took advantage of fully exploring our local church Necton All Saints, to hunt for different types of rocks and their uses supporting our new science topic 'Rocks and Soils'.

One of our class members even found a new friend along the way!

We finished off the week with a definite favourite with Seahorse class; the Pro Kick Challenge. We worked with a professional footballer to measure the power of our kicks in MPH and raised some money to boot!

Many thanks to you all for your continued support, especially with the fundraising efforts with the Pro Kick Challenge. I think you will agree it has been an awesome week for all involved!
